Barbecue Pork Ribs

Homemade beetroot soup with sweet-and-sour pickled cucumbers is like a hug with a squeeze: hearty, eye-opening (perfect if it’s still gloomy outside…) and warming. The beetroot brings the tang, the pickled cucumber the sweetness, and the result – you simply can’t get enough!
Treat your loved ones. What’s more, this is one of those soups that’s even tastier the next day, so cook a bigger batch. Delicious with sour cream and dark bread.

Preparation

    Season the ribs with salt, pepper and garlic.

    Brush with barbecue sauce and leave to marinate for 2 hrs.

    Roast in the oven at 160 °C for 1.5 hrs, brushing with sauce every 20 min.

    Before serving, roast for 5 min at a higher temperature of 220 °C to form a caramel crust.


Tips


Great served with roast potatoes and tasty „Kėdainių“ fermented vegetables.
